Dry Suit Diver
Do you get cold while diving? A dry suit may be the answer for you. Dry suits are unique exposure suites that keep you warm, comfortable and DRY—even while under water while opening up a whole new spectrum of dive experiences and challenges.
What do I need to start?
Open Water Diver; Minimum age: 12
What will I do?
You will learn about the different types of dry suits as well as new diving techniques. In additional you’ll learn about minor maintenance and repair of your dry suit.
How long will it take?
Just some classroom time and a couple of dives will complete this course.
What’s next?
This course can be used towards your Advanced Open Water Diver certification, so now is a great time to look to that if you don’t already have that certification. All you need in addition to this specialty is three other specialties (Boat, Navigation, and Deep are good choices) and 24 logged dives.
