Learn from home!

Now's the best time to learn to dive...and now it is even more convenient than ever! You can now learn all about dive physics while in your pajamas and bunny slippers or learn about scuba equipment at 5 am. Education is now available whenever...and wherever you are. Best of all, you still have access to your instructor. Contact your instructor via email or phone to ask questions or clarify points of study.

When you are ready, make arrangements to come into our facility to complete your training. You can begin your pool sessions after completing your academics online or anywhere inbetween...whatever fits your schedule.

GO Dive:
You’ll learn and master dive skills from one of our highly-trained PADI Instructors during confined and open water dives. The skills you learn during these dives will prepare you to explore a whole new world. Start today on a lifetime of adventure and fun!

So what will it cost?
Students enrolled in the ELearning program pay $120 (to PADI via a secure online payment system) for the online portion of the program. This fee includes:

  • Convenient online access to knowledge development course material for one year
  • Unlimited and unrestricted access to an online version of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual
  • Quizzes and exams completed at your pace and to your schedule
  • Unlimited access via email and phone with a certified PADI instructor who will help guide you through your studies

Once you are ready to hit the water, ELearning students pay $300 (to Rec Tec Scuba via secure online payment or in store payment) for the in water training and open water portion of the program. This fee includes:

  • Full equipment rental, we do not require you to purchase any equipment
  • Pool usage in accordance to your training schedule (there will be several options for confined water training)
  • All air fills
  • 4 Open Water dives(entrance fee into the scuba park is NOT included)
  • Certification card
  • Student discount of 15% while enrolled in the class
