April Florida Excursion

We're in the water 9 - 11 April! The trip includes:

  • 9 April - Manatee Snorkel – Spend up to 3 hours swimming and snorkeling with these gentle sea cows. Videos are available for purchase.
  • 10 April – 2 tank morning dive in Pompano Beach
  • 10 April – 2 tank night dive in Pompano Beach
  • 11 April – 2 tank morning dive in Pompano Beach
  • 2 tank rentals (and air fills)
  • 2 night hotel stay in Pompano Beach Hotel is double occupancy, so single divers will be paired up.
NOT INCLUDED in the trip: travel to and from dive sites, lodging other than in Pompano Beach (you will probably need one night prior to the manatee snorkel), food and incidentals. Equipment rental is not included.

Trip Cost: $450 (non-diver price $200)

    The hotel in Pompano is right on the beach and other activities are available (Jet Skis, Parasails, Paddleboards, Wave Runners, Kayaks, Hobbi Cats, Banana Boat Rides, and comfortable Beach Chairs and Umbrellas) in between dives (or for those non-divers you bring with you).

    How does this compare to diving in North Carolina? 3 (2 tank) boat dives @ $100 each plus 2 nights of hotel stay @ $100 a night equates to $500. That makes this trip a great deal since we have added MANATEES to it! Not mention warmer temperatures.

    Special equipment packages will be for purchase after signing up for the trip.

    Package 1: Primary light, backup light (night dives), safety sausage, finger reel (used on all drift dives, reel is also used on wreck dives), Lazer stick (for marking your tank on a night dive) and whistle (required for Advanced Open Water). (Example retail package sells for $140, on sale for $115)

    Package 2: ‘Snorkeling sets’ which include mask, snorkel, fins, booties and gloves sold at a discount when bought together. (Example retail package sells for $284, on sale for $235)
